Welcome!
Verulam
Amateur Swimming Club is a Swim 21 accredited St Albans based club with
about 170
swimmers. Founded in 1980,
and originally based at Bricket Wood Sports Centre, we run training
sessions from Westminster Lodge and Marlborough School pools. We
pride ourselves in being a competitive, but
friendly club, which aims to give every swimmer the opportunity to
compete at their own level. Our
fully licensed and qualified coaches and teachers
are dedicated to get
the very best from swimmers. We have a thriving team of hard-working
volunteers responsible for the day-to-day running of the club and for
organising galas.
Verulam ASC offers
three swimming groups, a learn-to-swim programme, training for age groups and for masters
swimmers.

Summer Holidays - Follow this link
for the summer holiday timetable, which starts from Friday, 23rd July.
There will be a 2 week break from swimming for those in the main club
between 1st and 15th August.

2011 Herts County Qualifying Times - follow this link
The qualifying period for BAGCATS 2011 for posting times runs from 1st May
2010.
Closing date for 2011 County Championships is Friday 11th February 2011.

Open Meets Link to forms
Cheshunt SC open Meet on the 3rd October at The Venue, Borehamwood.
Entry forms and money to be returned to Rowena
Nicholson, Verulam Open Meet Coordinator, coaches or any committee member at any training session by 27th August
Barnet Copthall SC Novices Meet also on the 3rd October. This is open to those swimmers aged 9-12 who
may never have competed in an Open meet before. Please ask Rowena or Zofia if interested.
Hemel Hempstead Birthday Meet on
the 16th October. There are no upper or lower qualifying times, so all
new swimmers can have a go! Level 3 license applied for. Entry forms and money to be returned by 5th September.
Watford SC Level 2 Open Meet on the 28th November. Entry forms and money to be returned to Rowena
Nicholson, Verulam Open Meet Coordinator, coaches or any committee member at any training session by 12th September.
